Bane of the guardian

The guardian is strong,
the guardian is wise,
the guardian is kind,
but only to others.

The guardian bears all,
the guardian abandons none,
the guardian will stay,
and he will never run.

Silently the guardian shall suffer,
and all is done willingly,
for he can be none other,
than the one he shall always be.

Choose not to be the guardian,
for his bane you cannot bear,
your shoulders will break under the strain,
of continued sadness and despair.
